The Mustard Tree                                              

The Mustard Tree is a Christian charity based in Manchester and our mission is: "To improve and rebuild the lives of homeless and marginalised people in Manchester" We try and fulfil this mission by providing support through the provision of emergency food parcels, clothing and furniture from our base in Ancoats.  We also provide training courses and volunteering opportunities to those registered with us.   Our clients include many different people including those living on the streets or in temporary accommodation; refugees and asylum seekers; people recovering from addictions; the long term unemployed; those recently released from prison and families with little money who are setting up home.

Twice a week we also distribute soup, sandwiches and hot drinks to the homeless in the City Centre, as one of the Council's registered Street Support Providers.

The Mustard Tree is keen to ensure that their building and services are fully accessible to disabled members of the public wherever possible. We have a stairlift fitted to allow greater access (paid for by Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund).
